Some of the different ways to interpret line are, it could be abstract, it could be a theme, it could be a line idiom. What I learned from thinking of line in different ways is that line is how you interpret it. When looking at line that is abstract there is no one thing it could be it is what you see not what someone else is seeing.

I this unit I learned about forced perspective and what it is. I also improved on drawing cubes. I think that I can still improve on my drawing skills. My opinion on original art is that I don't think that anything is necessarily original. You may have created it but there is probably something already out there that is similar. I think that not everything in the world is really original. Just because that it say it's the original... doesn't mean that it's actually original. Some challenges I faced were that me and a group of other were sent to take forced perspective photos and we had trouble coming up with ideas eventually we did though. At the end of the unit we had to draw something or put something up with tape I chose to draw something. I drew squares that lead into an abyss. This is my final drawing. In this unit I learned how to put multiple things into one drawing. I learned to mix up characters into different things. I think that not all art is original because everything is a copy of something else. This is two original characters mashed into one. Mickey Mouse and a toy story character rolled into one. The challenges I had during this unit is that I can't really draw all that well. A success that I had was that my final drawing turned out well. If I could change anything I would change the fact that I left my final drawing in black and white. This ceramic sculpture was made by Haejin Lee. She creates ceramic sculptures, looking as if they unraveling before your eyes. In art this week we learned about one point and forced perspective. I enjoyed learning about forced perspective, because it was interesting to figure out what we wanted to do, and then figure out how we wanted to do it. |
